First heat of the Australian MNCC 2013 this weekend
For those of you not in the know, the MNCC is a high level cosplay contest. Those who wish to enter must first submit a portfolio of work and show a high degree of cosplay skill. Contestants are judged not only on their costume, (which has to be scratch built) but also on a onstage performance. In the past I’ve attended a few of these heats around the country and I’ve always been absolutely amazed at the degree of skill and dedication people put into their costumes. If you don’t believe me, then just check out some of the pictures I’ve taken in the previous years. (the pics don’t do them justice)
I’ll be attending this weekends’ Melbourne heats and hope to get an opportunity to get some pics there. In the meantime, here are some entrants from the 2011 competition.
