Adelaide Supanova 2014 Day 1
Supanova Adelaide took place last weekend and if I had to describe it in one word, it would be “moist”. Not the most flattering description I realise but I have good reason. Day started cold and raining, which then turned into thunderstorms. Which then caused the power to go out. The trader hall (which I spent most of the day in) felt like a sauna, not to mention all the moisture in the air from all the evaporating rain when the sun came out at the end of the day… But the smaller crowd numbers did allow me a rare chance to shoot on the Saturday.
So I was happy to see the cosplayers of Adelaide braved the weather no matter what it was and I was not disappointed.
Of worthy note was 2013 MNCC finalist Greg, who cosplayed as a huge Dino Megazord of Power Rangers fame. There was also an absolutely amazing Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy (or maybe it was an Ent).
All in all though, it was still a great day of cosplay, even though it was a bit wet and sticky but really, what cosplay day isn’t.
